Online consultation with iwi/Māori

Raise your voice, not the sea level

Whānau, hapū and iwi along our coastline will be significantly impacted by climate change, so we’ve developed an online survey to make it easier for whānau, hapū, iwi, and hāpori to get involved and have their say. Surveys can be accessed here - 100Coastievoices.net

This survey only takes about 12 minutes to complete and will help us gather data insights and responses from whānau, hapū, iwi and hāpori on our draft package of advice about actions the Government should take to help us transition to a thriving, climate-resilient and low emissions Aotearoa by 2050.

Our aim is to get 100Coastie voices from each rohe. Your completed survey will automatically be generated into a submission to help us draft our final advice to the government.

Anyone is welcome to go ahead and make a submission directly through our online site - submissions close on 28 March 2021.
