Extension to the Statutory Deadlines for the Commission’s first advice
First package of advice now to be provided on 31 May 2021.
The Climate Change Commission’s first package of work on climate change action in Aotearoa will now be provided to the Minister for Climate Change on 31 May 2021.
The advice was due on 1 February 2021 but the impact of Covid-19 had to be factored into the Commission’s work programme. The extension will ensure our analysis, engagement and consultation is completed to a high standard.
