Letter to Climate Response Ministerial Group: Our 2023 NZ ETS settings advice

In July 2023, we wrote to members of the Climate Response Ministerial Group about our March 2023 advice on unit limits and price control settings for the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme (NZ ETS) for the 2024-2028 period.
The Commission gives NZ ETS settings advice every year, as part of the annual process to keep the scheme’s regulations up to date. This letter highlights our 2023 NZ ETS settings advice in advance of Cabinet’s next consideration of the settings.
